Atlast a sensible buyer, problem is getting an equally sensible seller.

To the same places where the peugeot car owners or the standard car owners go. Also add Padmini!!!(include scrap yards / junk yards in the list of places to be visited)

Mohd. Estate, Near Kapadia Nagar, CST Road Kurla West Mumbai 400070. India.

i bet u would get more daewoo parts there than anywhere else in India.

hehe.slightly OT but if you read BVR Subbu`s interview then you`ll also read that the surajpur plant has a lot of daewoo spares lying around. I wonder why they dont hawk them off.

like that one. One cielo cannibalising another. If the 10 k cielo turns out to be better ,then your cielo can become the donor.

I own a matiz, and spare parts are quite freely available for it, so i guess the situation must be the same for the cielo too. I'm talking about the situation in coimbatore and cochin. Dunno how it is your place. Also, the daewoo auth service center is still working in cochin, but i dont take my car there, unless its something major.

Daewoo authorised service centre still working man thats cool,do people go there and do they still have original daewoo parts i simply screwed my matiz giving it to a local garage in pune i had to fit all duplicate engine parts because of unavailability of parts and now the car gives a lot of problems,i should have known about this earlier

I was waiting for Nano to launch before considering to sell off my Matiz. I bet they share some common spares.

Considering that your Cielo is over 10 years old, it would be best for you to sell her off. Sooner or later, major repairs are going to come up. And the cost of repairs will exceed your cars market value by a mile.

I would suggest find out how the Matiz owners are coping and follow them. They would probably know some workshop which has some ex-Daewoo trained senior mechanics. Go there. I agree getting parts would be difficult and expensive.
Didn't Matiz owners get any service support from GM's Spark division?

Nope. Not at all. GM is hoping that they will all throw their old cars and switch over to Spark !!

Akash its sad to know the baby grasping for breath. You should sell the dead horse for whatever you get sooner or later

As most others have mentioned you should sell it for whatever at the earliest (unless there is a sentimental value). Already old, imagine you have a major problem, the cost of repair will be more than the value of vehicle - worst if you try to sell then, you will not get even this much.

There is always a price for any car. It has served you long and perhaps time to pass it on.
