Reality bites . I still have 2 years of EMI left on the SX4. Besides, I am not a big fan of the Linea's rear design. The rear overhang is a bit too much and it makes the car look weird. So, I am not a prospective Linea customer unless Fiat throws in the 1.9 MJD. But yea, the Grande Punto is surely on my radar. If Fiat manages to throw in a Grande Punto 1.9 MJD Emotion+ it would be perfect for me.

PS: I wish Fiat manufactures the Bravo here. At about Rs.13 lacs, it would a great alternative to the Civics, Corollas, Jetta's and Lauras.

Thanks for the details Muneem. Spares availability and pricing have to be spot on by Fiat .

God forbid!
But god knows, I'm in Istanbul tomorrow. A strong Linea/Fiat territory.
Tune in and maybe, I'll write up a full blown TD report of an International spec Fiat linea.

That sounds awesome, muneemmk! If you drove the SX4 and Verna after the Linea, that means its competing with them. So that means the price will start from ~6 and go all the way up to 8.5?

So tom NDTV C&B will also showcase the Linea??
I don't think C&B Show will showcase the Linea tomorrow but in the coming weeks it surely will. It has to do it to maintain its #1 spot as the elite auto program on Indian TV.

Thanks munmeek for the info and i feel its time Fiat india thanks t-bhp for the kind of advertisement they got. 3 to four full length discussions. God even Nano didnt get so much server time. Lol. Waiting for a detailed specs and pricing and am not watching c&b as i have seen the car without camoflague so doesnt make sense watching some sneak preview.
Fiat: Well please improve your A** as unless that is provided without asking your customer to keep his car for days in the garage i dont think it will be of any help. Anyways best of luck

Thanks Ferrari1976 for that Review link.

Linea looks great and features are impressive!
As the presenter said, Fiat has got a winner at their hands, now they should back this awesome car with efficient service!

i think they will push really hard with this, however, with sales itself slowing down, i do hope fiat keeps that aspect in mind. Maybe thats played a comprehensive factor in the "competitive" pricing.
