My Palio 1.6 Gtx can still beat the Linea Petrol as far as power and pick up is concerned.

Nice feature list. Also, looking at the specs, The Diesel is going to whip the Petrol version silly at the traffic lights Grand Prix with almost double the amount of torque available lower down.
I also quite like the 15k service intervals. less messing around at the fiat service station.

Autocar december edition says top end diesel model will be around 9 lakhs. Had just finished reading the test report.

FIAT could have adopted a bigger engine than the 1.3 multijet, (even though it has a variable geometry turbocharger). A mental block in accepting an engine which is doing duty in hatchbacks like Palio, Swift and Indica Vista for this big car.

Another thread on Linea. More speculation. More Fiat bashing to launch the machine soon...

But have to say the specs look juicy. Sidindica does it again!
