Arrow Maruti Turns Silver!

On December 14, 2008, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (formerly Maruti Udyog Limited) will celebrate its 25th anniversary in India. Our beloved Maruti 800 and Omni will celebrate 25 glorious years in India.

I would like to thank Maruti and the people behind it for bringing about an evolutionary change in the Indian automotive scene and hope that it continues to provide people with better products in the future.

Aren't there any meets or programmes to celebrate this? Had it been US or EU, there would have been a huge celebration across the country. Nevertheless, although the company now is very much under Japanese control, I personally still feel Maruti 800 as India's true national car.

Cheers!

Congrats Maruti on this day!! Its great small car company I wish it comes out soon with good quality premium products. 25 years is really big one to come with best quality of the lot to attract more customers apart from current trend of people who buy Maruti cars for its economy.

Regards,

Ravi.

Yeah, even though they seemed to be satisfied to run with older models a few years back, now they have got their act together. I just love them for giving us our beloved M800 which has been serving us for more than 13 years wihout any trouble.

Congrats to Maruti and the OMNI. Omni is the only model from Maruti that has had a continuous run throughout the life of the company without any major changes.

I wonder why there are no 'special editions' to celebrate this event, considering maruti has one of those for every other silly reason they can find!
