Car looks hot in the blue colour. The light colours dont seem to suit it well.
Black should look killer too.

Very Ritzy, also very Japani. Doesnt look like a chevy. The rear door handle is innovative, but I am wondering how usable it will be. I like the rear lights tho, looks quite chic. Again, I am wondering how large the boot is gonna be. Might be another A-star in the making - Nice package, but doesn't sell coz there is no boot. :(

YUCK ! as ugly as RITZ in every angle, also has pulled and stretched pair of eyes (Headlights) , MY personal opinion though!!

It has taken few cues form Ritz.
Door handle in c-pillar is really a different thought.

OT: @LancerSFX, Good pics there mate. But do remember, a helmet is for the head and not the speedometer.

Looking at the headlights, it looks like this is going to be one majorly bug eyed car.

From a telescopic distance the rear end reminds me of the first generation santro.
I hope though the overall package is much better than that.

Default Chevy Beat

Today morning I got a chance to get in and have a close look at Chevy Beat. The one I saw was the base model. Observed following things.

- Front power windows.
- Digital tachometer!
- All black interior.
- Looks small from outside.
- Rear design is similar to Ritz but looks better than Ritz.
- Interior space is slightly more as compared to spark.
- Enough headroom for rear passenger. I found it more than Swift.
- Rear seat under thigh space is a bit less.
- Rear seat has fixed head rest.

Other Info:
- 2 engine variants as everyone know.
- Launch is sometime next month.
- Diesel will be launched later.
- Price range will be similar to that of A-Star.

This one should do good in terms of numbers for GM.

Thumbs down

Looks like a set of confused designers who came up with the exteriors! Seems like a hindi film with many "inspirations" taken from "other cinema" . Saw this one near Talegaon, and it already looked like a 1990's design from a distance.

To me, everytime i see a pic of the beat, from the rear it looks like the old santro with after-market tail lamps!

I do like the front end though!

From the sides the head lights look like that of i 10. Not much impressive in pictures. Waiting to see the real thing.

There is another black one doing rounds of pune. I personally find the car pretty ugly. The front is just too oversized & aggressive for a small car while the rear is really overdone! The tail lamp cluster is just too much bling.

@Crazy - Damn..there sure is that resemblence to the old santro rear!

Lately all designers have been losing steam by the time they reach the rear-end be it in Ritz, A-star or Beat. Personally I do hate the rear end of the Porsche panamera also.
