How much do a horse and cart cost? I'll go green before I drive a Nano. What's different between the horse-and-cart and a Nano? Nano was thrown out on its back from eco-friendly Singur. The horse-and-cart has Gur (at least it sometimes looks like "gur") coming out its eco-friendly back.

Over 10 years of acting as Tata Motors' R&D lab with our own money to create the Indica Vista... isn't that enough? Must we develop the Nano Pista for Ratan-babu in another 10?

I think even Chevrolet Spark is a good option. You can do the down payment of Rs 1 Lakh and for the remaining amount take a car loan.

what a novel way of going

If looking at an average middle class mans dream with 1 lac at hand.

GO FOR THE TATA NANO, HASSLE FREE OWNERSHIP

If looking at a spoilt brat point of view with 1 lac on hand.

GO BUY A SET OF SPEAKERS FOR YOUR EXORBITANT CONTRAPTION,

If you are looking at a upper middle class category, with 1 lac at hand

GO BUY A USED CAR AND SPEND THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY MAINTAINING IT.

If you are a college going DUDE stuff, with 1 lac on hand

GO BUY A BEATEN UP SEDAN WITH THOSE CHEAP FFE, AND DHIN CHAK ICE AND BLING BLING ALLOYS

If looking at a average T-BHP character, with 1 lac at hand.

GO BUY ANYTHING WITH 4 WHEELS AND ONE ENGINE AND A CARB, and START POSTING YOUR RESTORATION SAGA HERE ON T-BHP
