Skoda use a little bit of common sense. YOu are selling the Octavia at 11- 14 lacs. Do you really think that a Fabia Hatch will sell at 11 lacs (as i really believe that the 1.9 will cost that much). Why don't you do something that your parent company has done ? Just like they got a 3 box GOLF the JETTA, get a sedan Fabia, and trust me it will sell like HOT cakes at 11 lacs odd.

Just a little bit common sense required.

Cheers,
AC

Not just pete's tuning box, you can get a remap upto stage 2, a turbo upgrade, twintercooler, and more and can bump it upto 250bhp with more than 320lb-ft of torque.. now what would you call that??

AC 427: There is no sedan available for the current generation fabia. Sedan was there with the outgoing model, don't think skoda has any plans to come up with a sedan based on current fabia, the only other option Skoda plans to come up is the Combi, but doubt if it's gonna do any good with the indian market.

Well this is exactly what i meant, please make it, when they were having decent figures with the old sedan fabia, what is wrong with the sedan for the new fabia ?
THe combi though will be a good buy, as it will be a car with a boot and at 11 lacs and a 1.9 that will be a extremely good buy.

Cheers,
AC

The better idea will be to release the Fabia sedan(if they have one or they can plan to have one) at around 10-11 lac range and phase out the incredibly old octavia(is anyone buying a new one i doubt).

This is no surprise, since they have plans to release the VW polo towards end of 2009 and the Yeti in 2010.
