Very true, even I was informed of the same, I guess same source

2.2l engine is the engine of the future for TATA.

Will Tata - Fiat's factories/supply chain/dealer network be able to take all of this? Looks too much for the chaotic team they are!

You mean there would be multiple power plants?
Meaning, we can expect higher bhp diesel powerplants along with the 2.2 VTT?

I guess he meant 2.2 would be the standard across all variants.
140 bhp sounds yummy! No scoops of the new safari out yet??

will the safari be a completely new platform or a makeover of existing model? We have only seen spy pics of xover, nano, punto, indigo etc so far but not the safari. Are there any spy pics of the new safari being developed?

Eagerly waiting for Bravo. I am certain this will be delayed into the next year. And then add another 5 months to gauge the actual performance of the car. Till then my Alto will be nearly 2 years old and good enough to be sold off.

Bravo, it is.

I can't help to go off topic here. How can one forget those dialogues. It is "Ethra manoharamaya nadakkatha SWAPNAM" which means almost same as what greenhorn has posted viz "what a beautiful dream that would never work"

Wow!

IMO all prospective buys wait till your dream come in India.

TATA is going to rule the Indian market for sure (if they improve quality & *** ofcourse )

Nano diesel. Well I'll postpone my Nano petrol booking!

The macho all new Safari: Bye bye scorpios & other SUVs!

New Indigo: Tera kya hoga Dzire / Ikon / Accent

Indica electric: want in India desperately

Jaguar, Land-Rover, Maserati, Ferrari: Hey all super riches of India, start saving your money now.

With the TATA - FIAT JV being taken outside India and Ratan Tata being given a board seat in the FIAT, we can expect to see some serious cars from the FIAT stable.

OT : Ratan Tata himself drives a Maserati
