TATA can change color of indicator and will not scare to call it "All new indi*" blah blah blah. I hope they will bring new platform instead of only exterior tweaks.

Okay, xOver is not the all new Safari, but they are two different products. Dont think anyone can tinker with the design of a Safari, this is the 180 bhp?

Why not a 2009 designed 4-door VTT 2.2 Tata Sierra with 4wd and still at around 7L. Would have filled that crucial gap of a good crusier as well as a 4wd vehicle.

As far as the knowledge of my sources goes, the new Safari and the Xover are built around the same platform. The 2.2-litre DICOR engine will have different states of tune for both (but obvious). The Xover mules that you see around right now are already equipped with ABS, EBD, Cruise Control etc. Its codename as of now is 'Crossover', unless my source didn't really know how to pronounce 'Xover' or maybe I didnt hear him clearly
From the almost production ready prototype that I have seen - the vehicle looks butch! Its sure to pleasantly tingle a lot of SUV/MPV/Crossover fans!

Looks like Jag-LR-Alfa-Maserati-Ferrari may all be sold under the same roof.

Whatever happened to the new 3.0 Dicor for the Safari, allegedly putting out 170-odd bhp?
