Thank you TEAM-BHP. I fell in love with Skoda Superb the moment reports started appearing in auto-mags and after I actually saw the car, many visits have been made to their website. Working with the banks for financing Superb or Passat or A4 TDI, but I've just put a hold on to my plans. This kind of service is not what I want to get after committing that kind of money. Why, my old Palio 1.9D might've driven just as well (:- well, at least that didn't have fake parts) and even from TVS Bangalore, I got great service.

that, Backseatdriver, is SWEET! will need to wait and watch if the mods let that article remain or merge it with Skoda's international article. if this remains, I guess we can use this for all future activity.

Thanks. I will accept the compliment with grace and humility. Hopefully the effect (grace and humility) will rub off on Skoda's representatives (dealers, employees, etc..) too. Ok the last part might be immature and unwarranted but given the recent developements it was not entirely incorrect no?

My guess is that Skoda India and it's network of dealers and vendors are so busy correcting their systems and processes they dont have time for such mundane excercies!

Definitely hope the above is the case for everybody's sake and for Skoda to regain a bit of lustre on its tarnished image.

An exceptional case. Hmmmmm..... I wonder what could be so exceptional in my case. Let me think.......

IS IT EXCEPTIONAL BECAUSE.....

- a Skoda dealer was caught red handed with his hands in the jar?

- collusion between Skoda personnel and dealer lay exposed?

- Skoda had to shut down their first dealer?

- a lone individual stood up to a MNC conglomerate and bruised its ego?

Your dented ego got you all so exceptionally blinkered, that you behaved the way you did, with Team BHP.

- your internal document landed in the hands of the customer?

- this case saw the light of day by getting neatly exposed by the Press and on the World Wide Web?

- your disgraced dealer promptly starts a new venture with your ex- MD.

- the only defense you could manage is 'sub-judice'?

It is exceptional for SURE because it is very easy to figure out why Nummer Eins did what they did and very difficult to figure out what Skoda is doing?

Harish Kanchan (HK)

Excerpts of the meeting - Mr. Dixit’s statements –

'Woh bolte hain na jitna aap khodoge, utna aur ganda niklega'.
Is it exceptional because your GM himself admits ki 'gandagi hain'?

Dear Mr.Shammi,

Kindly find enclosed report with regards to Mr.Harish Kanchan’s car. Request your feedback with regards to the report and the course of action from your end to rectify the customer’s vehicle.

Highlighted in bold is the tepid, matter of fact, lack of shock, 2 line response from the Head of Consumer Care, Skoda, a subsidiary of Volkswagen, to his dealer Shammi Singh Vijan of Nummer Eins.

Or is it exceptional since you find nothing exceptional in your dealer dealing in spurious parts?

Let us have a clinic, for all Skoda cars serviced by Nummer Eins ( lets start with them ), to verify parts for their originality. We can start with BHPian cars.

Let us have an expert on Skoda parts, somebody like ajmat ?, conduct this.

Let us have the media in on the party.

Trust me my friend, this will be the right one to hit the 'Breaking News'.

Let us advertise this gathering in leading newspapers and see how Skoda comes out of its shell, faster than a vRS, with the fire brigade clanging behind.

Skoda cannot take action against us for checking our own cars. can they?

But of course, you have to contend with the now famous tag line,

'these parts were not ascertained to have been put by our dealer'
GTO/MODS

It would be a great experience to see exceptional skeletons come tumbling out of the Skoda closet.

Tell you what Mr. Ramesh.

THIS CASE IS EXCEPTIONAL because I hold YOU personally responsible for jeopardizing the lives of my family and me.

I believe that a person should be named in such a report, rather than leaving it unsaid. THAT person will then HAVE to make court appearances and cannot simply be represented by his lawyer.
Am I right?
The choice of the name becomes crucial!

@ Moderators. Please remove the Red Skoda VRs appearing on the Team Bhp window at the earliest. I know it will hardly have any effect, but still.

Also lets all pool in some amount to advertise this rotten issue in newspapers. Even if all can contribute Rs 100/ head the news will spread to all nook and corner of the country.
