| There are cars which are chosen by head and there are cars chosen by your heart. India is not the country where cars are offered for enthusiasts but still there are few cars which awakes the driver in you and make you enjoy the every moment of it. I owned Esteem and City Vtec and even after selling them few years back, I am still not able to go over the memories I had with them, I still cherish every moment spend with them. None of my current machines offer me the same delight offered by both of these. I found the following cars to be great fun to drive and admired by loads of enthusiasts all across the country. Maruti Zen Old Maruti Esteem Maruti Swift in Both Diesel & Petrol Honda City Vtec old Fiat Palio 1.6 Ford Fiesta "S" My choice: Fiesta "S" followed Old Honda City Vtec / Maruti Esteem Reason why I choose the Fiesta over my passions (Old Honda City Vtec / Maruti Esteem) is, I found this to be great package overall, excelling in all departments - Chassis, Handling, Engine & Safety Gizmos. Would be great to know the likings of all my fellow Bhpians.

| Well i think Hyundai Verna CRDI or a getz Crdi deserve to be in the list. Also the ANHC . Im not too sure if Zen fits the list. Baleno and Ikon 1.6 deserve to be in the list too.

| @ Karanraheja Well do agree for these mentioned machines, they should also be added to the list. However my reason behind adding the Old zen was the fan following it receives till date.

| @S_budhiraj - I owned a zen too , it was zippy yes. It did feel sluggish with A/c on though. Just my personal opinion. Best cars i have driven till date under 10 lacs :- 1. OHC VTEC 2. Fiesta S 3. ANHC 4. Ikon 1.6 5. Verna CRDI 6. Swift DDIS 7. Baleno

| Well till date I like the old Zen and the old honda city (1.5 or the Vtec). Also I would add the Palio Adventure (Never owned that car but have had a chance to drive it from mumbai to pune and it a memorable drive. The only thing messed up in that car was the mileage), Baleno, Verna CrDi (the engine keeps asking for more) and Qualis (Despite of the taxi image that the car had built up over the years, it had good engine and was a very practicle car for the Indian roads) PS: Thought of adding the Swift DDi but then in my opinion, its only the initial pick up that thrills you. Its not something that you'll crave for.

| @ karanraheja that car was sluggish with AC on but still you can't deny the fact that Zen was the first hatch to offer some performance for the people who had no other choice than 800.The cause for this thread is to know the list of likings of all my fellow Bhpians and that seems to be working after seeing your last post
