Fortuner is going to sweep away the competition, however given the outrageous pricing they are considering, it will be Endeavours gain. Hope they launch Automatic soon.

Default New 2010 Ford Endeavour

Hey all,
I was just browsing through fords' various global websites and came across pictures of the new ford Everest/endeavor .I've posted a couple over here. You guys can check it out on fords' Philippines website.

P.S.: The new 18's look like they just came off the rangerMax concept from earlier on in the year. Also, the side cladding's are now body colored instead of the ludicrous silver on white etc theme on the current version, not to mention the usual new headlamps/grille/rear lamps etc for the mid-life refresh.

Exactly my thoughts! You beat me to it. Looks more sober now. The looks on the last one were mean and meant "I mean Business"

The exterior does look a bit watered down, is it just me or the front looks a wee bit like the safari?

I think the hurricane looks the best. Only if they offered 6 and 8 cylinder options.

This ICE is not standard in Thailand, where it is sold as the Everest. They have a Navigation Trim that has this ICE, otherwise, its the same old crappy box that needs to be removed as soon as you get hold of the vehicle.

Hoping it comes with a better more responsive engine. That's the first thing needed for this tub.

The Endy's new range of engines are pretty responsive, Beejay.

I just hope they do something with the leaf spring rear suspension.... its spoils an otherwise very competent offroader.

Hi Beejay, I read in Autocar India a couple of months back the 2.5 TDCi does 0-100 at about the same time as the Octavia TD, i.e approx 13 seconds which is pretty impressive for a 2 ton SUV. The previous (IDI Turbo 2.5) was very underpowered with some serious turbo lag.

Amen to this. This is the biggest draw back of the Endy. They should just make the extra effort and put coil springs.

slowing down the aging process eh. hasn't this model been flogged enough? I'm sure I'll be pointed to a certain jap manufacturer in india but then, this is a 20L SUV.
Nice front end though I must admit.

The interiors are a step up - however I for sure prefer the existing front end styling.
