Spotted Testing - Chevrolet Cruze. EDIT - Pics on Pg-5, Brochure Pg-15 - Team-BHP

was returning from pune to bangalore.
saw this car near kartaj. it got down the highway. but saw the same cars again at chitradurga. due to heavy traffic, couldnt stop and get closer pic.

can anyone guess which car is it?

Looks like the Cruze to me. Zoom closely and the nos looks like a GJ one to me.

Spot on Buddy..!! Indeed looks like the Chevy Cruze.

Can make out from the Registration it is GJ something & the way the Tails lights can be seen from the Slit on the camoflauge it is indeed a Chevy Cruze.

That is surely the Chevy Cruze! It's one of the first spy pics of the Cruze in India. It's gonna be launched in Sept'09 acc. to the recent adverts of Chevrolet in the newspapers.

No offense, but Chevy cruze has been spotted many times by our fellow Bhpians.

Well, but I haven't seen any spy pics of the Cruze before on t-bhp. There's only 1 thread existing on the Cruze:

its cruze it has civic like twin tail lamps. they are different but they are those type.

Well the intention was to just get pics of the test car.
never intented to be the first one, as i always believed that this car might have already spotted by some tbhpians.

there were 2 cars which i first spotted on flyover near katraj.
but these beauties got down the flyover and took u-turn.
next unexpectedly spotted them again at chitradurga. this time these was stationed with parking lights on. but i was not able to get down and talk to the testers as there was no place to stop my car.

had been seeing many such test cars whenever i used to travel to pune. so always wanted to capture these cars and luckily i had my new mobile with me.

thats the first one and looking forward for many more !

Today I also saw a car with KA-05 license plate in Hosur Road. It was a Big SUV. Could not take any pic :( All lights and the logo was hidden.

looks like you spotted the fortuner.
in the pic,the rear bumper has four holes which are not covered so im guessing reversing sensors will be standard or this is the top end variant

Yep does look like the Cruze. Hope GM can price it aggressively. If the interiors are similar to the foreign versions it will surely be a car to have IMO.
