The following article says that GM is planning to phase out Aveo:

you are forgetting the cruze, beat and tavera which are actually doing pretty well.

In any case i dont see the aveo doing too well inspite of any price revision. The car does not stand out for any particular quality or value proposition. GM should probably try plonking a 3 pot version of the 4 pot optra engine to see how it does

GM needs to get the new aveo twins, fast.

The aveo sedan 1.6 has been discontinued. Also, why does GM keep selling the optra when its past its sell by date?

The best part is to rip optra of its features and price it further down. Discontinue the Aveo already.

Is the phase out the reason for the Rs 60k discount + corp discount? The LT model (with leather upholstery, Airbags, No ABS) is coming to about 7.4L in Hyd - Is this a good deal?
