Default How do you calculate mileage for your car

Just want to find out what are the various methods followed to calculate the mileage of the car.

I tried searching to locate, if there was any thread where this was discussed before. But could not locate one

fill up 1 and note km reading 1>>run>>fill up 2 note km reading 2>>km reading (2-1)/no of lit filled up at fill 2..
for cars with low fuel warning light.. note km reading when light comes ON, put 10 lit gas, note again when light comes ON.. dist covered between lights/10..
simple and basic..

Hey no prob. The word FE is used more on this forum then "mileage". Hence I got the results.
