Lately there are adds in newspapers for Santro 2.99 lakhs, is the Santro getting a facelift ?

I read that the offer is till 12th Aug 2009, does it only apply for the lowest version or also the GLS version.

The adverts says the offer is available on the GL (S) and is on offer only in Select cities.

Just checked with Advaith Hyundai.
Offer is on GL(Solid),
for GLS there is a different offer: 12000 (free insurance) and 2000 corporate discount

Yes. Most likely it is for GL version. However, this is cannot be for the Non AC for sure because the regular price of the Non AC is below 2.99 already.

nothing new, every 3-4 months they launch this offer, I remember in Feb also they launched the same ad with the same punchline - Santro now at 10 yr old prices. Time to increase sales and take away customers from competition with low prices.
