There was something on today's TOI about Getz being phased out... Hyundai to phase out Getz soon - India Business - Business - NEWS - The Times of India

Poor demand? I would like to meet Mr. Lheem and give him a piece of my mind- Have a beautiful hatch, especially the Diesel. Then over-price it. And dont promote it. Result = hara kiri, and then say "poor demand"! My foot!!! :(

I bought my GLX in April 2009. I also took the 5 year extended warranty. If they phase out the car, how will they ensure the warranty remains in place?

And the resale value would come down drastically. I made the mistake of listening to the dealer who said Getz will remain in the market, positioned in between i10 and i20

You should not have any problems with the warranty. The resale value of course is a problem. But then Getz did not command a resale value as high as, say, a Swift. So...!

It won't be much problem.A lot of spares are common with Verna.
Definitely Hyundai will give a good support in future too after 5 years.
No worries.
