Its the first bike mag for India. I just had a glance through and the mag seems well put together. At 50 bucks and only bikes its quite good. Me not being a bike guy really didnt read through but RT will have Kartik do the honours for that

any website for the same shuvc? Nowadays most mags are air mags. They will talk about the model which may come to india in 2020 while not having road tests and specs for model which sells 3000 cars/mo since past 4 months.

I fully agree. And then they will fill pages bragging about how they are the first ones to lay their hands on it, how exclusive it is, what a big scoop they have uncovered, blah blah blah.

And the funniest part is all three mags will have the word "exclusive" in them .

Great news! I was a big fan of CAR when I was an expat - I shipped my two years of issues back home when I returned to India. At one point I was actually thinking of subscribing to the international edition at a cost of ~ Rs. 10,000 per year!

Now I can have CAR without draining my wallet.

I checked it out.. but didnt find anything much impressive..

According to the magazine..

Santro gives FE of 19.9...
Swift is more FE than wagonr!..
The tyre size specified for Wagonr is wrong..

and many more errors..

Oooops , i didnt know that the editor is Adil darukhanawala . Anyhow , i take my words back(my last post) when i said that "IMO it is going to give a nice competition to ACI " .

p.s There's no doubt in my mind that Mr Adil really lives upto his surname .

Good to hear about Car and Bike (not Car & Bike) being launched in India. I happen to be in the country and picked up a copy of "The Auto Magazine" - at 75 bucks, it's more than just highway robbery. Lets put it this way - I wont be picking up "The Auto Magazine" from the stands any more, and I havent bothered reading through the one I did buy....

I shipped 10 years of CAR back till my wife gave an ultimatum to get rid of it - now with the team of BS motoring. I still subscribe, costs me Rs 6000 or so but worth it!
