Well, all I can say is thank God for Team BHP, where else on earth can you learn about such noble and heart rending deeds by car makers! Our auto journos are too busy smoking tyres.

Skoda never fails to surprise.

All the Skoda owners have to give/write about it to the concerned ministry and ARAI for the quality of the SKODA vehicles sold in India.

I will be keeping my fingers crossed. My Superb was delivered on 30th July 2009 and so far has been trouble free. I have done 3500 km.

My only complaint is that the rear seats AC cooling is poor. Even with the outside vents closed (which I do everytime I get into the car why cant it remember the setting!) unless I switch the Auto mode off and increase the blower to nearly max the cooling in the rear is poor. With the blowers at nearly max the noise level is irritating.

For the driver and front passenger the AC works very well.

Lets hope these problems were only with the early deliveries.

Hey Congratz Rohit! Ensure that you do a full pre delivery check before you register or accept the car. Now you know what to look for and double check the problem areas also.

May the replacement car give you many peaceful miles. Its a nice car afterall.

Glad to hear this Rohit - though I wonder why you should pay an additional 2.10 lakhs.

Use the Team BHP PDI check list for sure - all the best, post pics and reviews

Cheers,

Congrats buddy. Hopefully things should look a lot better here on.

I'd stick my neck out and put a note of acknowledgement to Skoda here

So Rohit, at this particular juncture, how do you FEEL about your interaction with Skoda thus far ?

Good luck with the new machine.

Why do you need to pay Rs. 2.10 L more when the car had technical issues related to Skoda quality etc.?
