dude...what are you saying ..
you cant even compare the likes of vtecs and vvti's to the maxima..
..maxima is one serious performer ..265 horses aint a joke...it can smoke a v6 mustang wit utmost ease....

its closest rival in terms of performance sedans was the grand prix GTP ..

The Maxima, Camry and Accord are considered to be in the same bracket...at least here in the middle east. Of course it is costlier than the other two, but its 3 litre engine would eat the Camry's or Accord's 3 litres for a mid-day snack...trouble is, its been discontinued (or is to be discontinued) after the launch of the Altima and there arent any Maximas available on the 2nd hand market either - even if you were willing to throw money around for one.

but altima is smaller than the maxima..
in north america maxima and altima have existed together in different segments ..
maxima with 3.5L and altima with a 2.5 ..
the new altima SER was launched recently with same 3.5L motor mated with a 6 speed shifter..

BMW 3 is compared to the Merc C class. I wonder if BMW will have any cars to sell under 20L. In that case i really wish VW or Nissan launch some models close to 10L if they have some in their product line.

I vote for nissan as Bmw's are still expensive. Nissan should get its infiniti range in India. They can compete with the likes of Skoda, mitsubishi and honda in the performance category.
