Default Used older SX4 or new SX4 VVT

Hi,

I have the opportunity to buy:
1. used SX4 lower end (VXi) @ 4.5lakhs which has done 16,000km
2. used SX4 high end (ZXi) @ 5.5lakhs which has done 1,500km only

Do you think it is worth it to buy one of these or does it make more sense to buy a new SX4.

I plan to use the car for 4 or 5 years at least.

What differences can i expect between the older and new SX4 models?

Thanks,
Manas

Manasm,

The old SX4 ZXI makes a lot of sense. You save substantial amount over a new purchase ( close to Rs 7.5 lacs).

I have been using the old ZXi for close to 21 months now and it is a very competent car.

The new ZXI is a beeter car but the additional money is not worth it. Please ensure that the used car has a clean history and was not involved in any accident.

Cheers

Certainly the ZXi over the VXi, whether old or new.

Rajneesh's opinion should certainly matter as he has had the car for almost 2 years now. I bought my ZXi VVT three weeks back. The cost difference of approx 2 lac is a lot, and 1500 kms is nothing, but the VVT engine is definitely a more refined engine.
