OT - Guys cud u please tell me why MARUTI stopped the beam blue shade of SWIFT ,BALENO?
Also, i was expecting tHAT beam blue shade for the new ESTILO, but ESTILO, instead comes with a new sa looking blue.
Is it because BEAM BLUE shade is expensive to manufacture or does it have any defect of losing the lusture earlier than other shades.

Just an update on my Baleno... June 2005 Lxi with 185/64R14 Tubeless tyres..has completed 27k kms..
For the last 6 months.. I have tried to squeeze every drop of fuel out of the car.. and the car has always returned between 13.5 to 15 kmpl... amazing ..this in city driving with AC used say 50% of the time...

Lowest mileage I got was 10.7 kmpl... Mumbai Pune Expressway.. was never below 120 and touched 180 on a few stretches.. 3 adults onboard..

Highest mileage I got was 15kmpl ...City driving (surprising..but I always seem to get more in city than highway...since I drive a bit fast on the highways but change gears before 1500rpm in the city)

Last weekend (Sat-Sun) I did Pune-Akola-Pune 1100 KM up-down. My Palio 1.2 given for servicing so ask my cousine for his Baleno. It was LPG, and the tank was full. I tanked up in Aurangabad and next tank up in Akola. Got 14.99 without AC. While coming back got 13.5 with full time AC. All LPG at an speed 90-110 KMPH.
In terms of riding I feel Palio is more planted on road than Baleno.

Default Re: Baleno Mileage -- UNBELIEVABLE

I have a 2005 Mar Baleno VXi...and my car gives 17 on highway with a/c on full time. Within Bangalore city it gives anywhere between 11 - 13 with a/c on 100% of the time. I am proud to have this car.
