Hey Guys,

I was checking for Ford Fiesta 1.6S or 1.6SXI, but currently the sales rep said it has only 35K discount here in Bangalore. Is this right?

Just checked with Kalyani motors in Bangalore here and there is 17K cash discount + Corp discount (in case your company is listed with them, ideally around 2-3k).

HP dude, there was a road show in front of our office in Guindy and the sales guy told our company comes under some kinda Level 1 category and thus offered cash discount upto 50k. goodies am not fully aware as i was more keen on the pricing factor. He told the Ikon TDCi is 6.19 on road for normal customers but for HP employees they are offering at around 5.75 on road. My friend was enquiring for him as he was in double mind weather to book Swift or the new Ikon

Correct me if am worng in pricing as i just told what that sales guy told me, and by the way the roadshow also included the new Fiesta Limited

I do not think it is applicable all-India. Discounts are dealer-specific and city-specific. However, please contact your dealer for confirmation.

Thanks Ravi. Shall talk to the dealer next week, since I remember that when BLR was offering a 25K discount, LKO was not offering any, but offered the 20K discount a week later.

Worse off in Pune, no discount on SX4 apart from exchange bonus and some meagre corporate discounts. And a threat to charge next year 3% price increase on delivery if delivery happens after 31st Dec...

And this is across all 3 dealers, each is saying that the 20-25 K discounts is only for the old SX4, not for the new VVT model. Looks like collusion to me...

Had talked to Lathangi Ford in Bangalore a while back, seems they don't have the limited edition ZXI in stock, and they have only 4-5 ZXI left. So you only get a limited choice in colour as well.

Looking at the discounts being offered on Tata & Fiat I can say that the discounts are similar to what is offered to Tata employees (on a regular basis).

So if you are a Tata employee then better wait for a month or two and get a 2010 car.

Anyone in the know about the offers in Mumbai? (1) On a new Accent, and (2) On the entry-level Germans i.e. C/3/A4/Passat.
