Well this is like putting Lewis Hamilton in a neighbourhood go-kart event. Of course the Nano will win! It is just such a huge milestone and that explains why the rest are being obliterated in this poll.

im going against the masses which basically is voting against the nano.
for me its the fortuner.
people were complaining from ages regarding the non availability of the fortuner in india.
when it is finally here its selling like hot cakes.
People are literally paying premiums of 2-3 lacs to get it delivered faster.
NO other suv in the 20 lac+ segment created such a buzz as this baby did.
Basically all the other suvs including The CRV, Endy, Outlander, pajero, Captiva etc are losing a lot of sales to the fortuner.
For me a definiton of a car is something different from what the nano offers so fortuner gets my vote
if i could cast a double vote it would be the punto definitely the comeback car after linea for FIAL.

Nano all the way. Reason - It has redefined automotive industry not only in India, but worldwide. I spoke to an American last week who did not know that JLR is now under Tata, but has loads of info on Nano. Such is the effect of this small car.

Tata Nano all the way.

TATA compelled others to think different and fulfilled the dream of an average Indian middle class man - A Good, affordable car for the family

Just now voted for a car that I'll never buy for several reasons. I voted for the Tata NANO.

I can state the reasons here; instead I am posting a link to the Time magazine here:

I would have loved to Vote for Nano. Tata proved we are capable of something, the world gave a look initially with negative image, but then respectfully had to bow down on what was achieved.

But there were some weird negative points like cars cathing fire. Next, this is still not what I expected. This is certainly not Rs. 1 lakh car. The biggest reason why I have not voted for Nano is the availability issue. You make a car for people, but for one reason or the other, they have to wait.

IMHO, the latest car launhces are not what I would love to have from a car. The prices have shot up, the driving pleasure seems absent. No vote to any car from my side. No longer VFM, most cars are just show and no go. Disappointed with the latest cars available in the market. Even Fortuner has issue of weak brakes.

My vote goes to Skoda Superb.
A true VFM in the 20 lakh segment.Excels in all aspects like looks, features, safety, ride & handling.Makes competition [Accord et al] seem like stone-age cars in comparison.
The only chink in the armor here is the atrocious A.S.S of Skoda.
Would have voted for Fortuner if I hadn't TD'ed it recently..

Default It's the Nano!

Has to be the Nano, closely followed by the Manza and then maybe the Punto.

The Jazz should not even make it to the list. Difficult to justify 8+ lacs for folding chairs and accomodating cycles and refrigerators inside a car.

Alfred E. Neuman of MAD Magazine could've done a better job of pricing the Jazz.
