| As long as value proposition is strong, i think it will sell but only with tons of advertising. Like every new launch, it will do well initially and then probably get back to doing modest numbers like most of the GM cars. GM cars (except cruze) don't really figure much on a buyers option list. Its just that thing about the car not "perceived" to be really being exceptional at anything - looks, features, mileage, cost of ownership brand recall or reliability. You think of Maruti or Toyota or Honda or VW and there is a characteristic that immediately/automatically comes to your mind! Nothing on these lines for GM. So even a well rounded GM car doesn't have the recall in a customers mind and thats probably a "perception" that GM needs to work towards changing. Ford has tried and has succeeded to a certain extent. Just pricing or MJD as an option won't help much except initially. |

| Spotted the below Chevy Sedan in my society in Roseland Rhythm, Pimple Saudagar, Pune yesterday. almost not camouflaged but for some yellow strips across the body and covered Chevy logo. It was the SAIL Sedan - Is pretty much the same proportion as that of the current Aveo. Interiors were pretty modern and had fabric seats. Saw an array of switches ahead of the gear! pretty weird position for switches? It had 175/R14 Apollo Accelere's and had a sticker saying Bharat Stage IV. Below some pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Vid6639 : 12th February 2012 at 13:55. Reason: edited pics with watermark |

| Thanks buddy, excellent catch with detailed pics. The boot certainly reminds me of Opel Vectra. I hope they launch with Diesel mill |

| Senior - BHPian | There is a thread somewhere. Nice scoop - the interiors look good for the class. And Saint Gobain glass looks good ![]() better water mark these pictures before they are all over. |

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | Thanks for the scoop spirit of driving. Rear seat looks spacious. Compared to Manza, Etios and Dzire I think this is the best looking. |

From my observation, 1. Good lateral support from the front seats! 2. Rear is spacious 3. Power Window switches in front of the gear lever 4. Not so great design for gear lever 5. Very very neutral looking car - will please MOST! | |

| The interiors look pretty decent design wise. The exteriors were designed to be inoffensve and boring I guess.A bit of a departure from Chevy India's recent products(read Beat and Cruze)!!All in all,a nice alternative to the Dzire,Manza and Etios!! |

| IMO, this will hardly have any impact on the indian market. It looks just to dull for such a highly contested market. BTW, power window switches in front of the gear lever in this day and age? ![]() ![]() |

| Senior - BHPian | Nice looking car for its class assuming that it will be in a price bracket of 5-7 Lacs. Those Power Window switches are oddly placed for sure. Any ideas of launch. |

| I saw 3 Sail hatchbacks (heavily camouflaged) on Varthur road today morning. I am so stupid. When I saw the first one, I should have kept my camera ready, but I did not even do it when the second one appeared. But all three had white number plates (GJ registration). I thought they should have had temporary plates. Also, all were driven by white guys (Americans?). They were on my opposite side. But in my RVMs, I did not see any black smoke from the exhausts. But that does not necessarily mean that there won't be diesel option at launch. |

| Saw a camouflaged test mule on the way to Hinjewadi a couple of days back. Did not take pictures, as I have poor multitasking skills and would have wrapped myself around the nearest pole. IMO, the silhouette did not look very impressive. Far too close to the Aveo for comfort. |
