This should have base version which should be priced almost equal to Safari GX. It can never be priced at 8lac coz Safari LX costs more and doesnt have half of the accessories nor a 4x4. EX with 4x4 cost 10lac up.

Manza pricing was a surprise to all and I hope they repeat it again. Also, hope this has better fit and finish than Manza.

Hope the alloys can take an upsize

The lengths people go to check a car! Great job Rahul

Pretty nice package from Tata and this definately is going to be above 10 lacs (the one show cased here), but obviously the lesser equipped version are probably going to sell more.

Good things - Safety and interiors
Not sure if AWD is needed for this crossover and didn't like the front end too much, but its definitely well put together.

Ok now this look's a clear cut competition to Toyota Innova. Good looking car from Tata.

Good work from the mods to cover this launch!

TATA is not only targeting the local market, but this is bound for the Europe and South African markets. The equipment levels definitely is very good.

Hope these get carried to the production version for India.

very nicely thought by TATA designers.

the whole vehicle seems to have been very well thought out.

now the only worry remains about the pricing strategy and initial quality offering.

Very important point as far as indian market is concern. I think Tata has proven them self good in rating the car till now.

I just love the Aria design. Looks really good, i must say!
Tata's fit and finish are improving by leaps and bounds, right from the Vista and the Aria continues in that tradition.

Prices are still speculative, is it?

the Traction Control Bar connecting to rear suspension.

It has 17 inch wheels and differential housing look smaller then Safari so GC may still be more then 205 mm of Safari.

A question where is rack and pinion steering visible ( Well I do not know how a rack and pinion steering should look like in first place).

Once your throw in full time AWD, ESP, Navigation system and 6 Air bags it is already out of Innova , Xylo and even Captiva territory and compares to next full time AWD soft roader in market that is Fortuner at 23 lakhs so 12 -15 would be steal if they can price it in that range.

By the way existing Safari VX on-road is close to 14 lakhs and sell in decent numbers so don't see a reason why 12-15 lakhs should be too big for a Tata.

Thumbs up

Aria looks bulky and very masculine if I can say so. I think this is the first AWD by an Indian manufacturer. Eagerly looking forward for more technical specifications and the price.
Well done TATA.

Except for the owner who damages it in a accident (not so major ones), you have to work on the entire bonnet ! I remember getting my grill and bumper replaced without any damage to the bonnet a couple of times.
