Yes, it was the LWB one. However no reclining rear seats on the version which is coming to India.
Apart from BMW and Merc, the phaeton which also boasts of handcrafted interiors is competition. At 75L ex showroom Delhi, its a good 15-20L cheaper than the JAg

IF i was to buy a luxo barge to be chauffeured around in, that would be the #1 feature on my list of requirements!

An unfortunate omission.

Though nonetheless, i am slowly becoming a fan of the Jags...

PS - Do you know that the way to tell the difference between a Jaguar and a Leopard is that typically the Jaguars have spots in the centers of their rosettes.

The XJ looks spectacular in black. Awesome shape and the aggressive stance is very prominent. The retro interior looks stunning too. Lovely pics.

As far as I am concerned the XJ was the best looking car in the entire Expo. To me it represented a rare combination of elegance and sport in one vehicle. I saw the XJ, the 7 series and the S Class (in that order) within a space of 1 hour. I came back for another long look at the XJ. The car had me mesmerized. It looked stunning in black and I stood there for a good 10 minutes soaking its sights in. All that after I have always found the S class to be the best sedan. Sigh!

I am not sure if Phaeton is even in the same league. I found the car pretty uninspiring. Then again, that's my opinion only. I am sure others feel differently about it.

Great pics SamtheLeo and Fireblader 85. All dream cars lined up there. The black Rangie looks absolutely striking and I'm speechless about the beauties of the Jags, the XJ particularly. I'm totally smitten by its presence. So much so that the cats are haunting me in my dreams too

they didnt showcase the XFR there , if it would have been there then the stall should have looked complete . they have it on display in there mumbai showroom , and that is mind blowing !
also they should have showcased the LRX concept which they are showing in europe shows . the stall should have been class apart then .
the merchantise was very good , but lots of items were not avaleble. i did buy the bag though !!!!

They dimmed the lights on me just as i was clicking pics at the Jag stall. I'll never forgive them for this because it would have been easier to tiptoe through a herd of elephants than the crowds that accumulated later in the day, when i was thinking of going back there.
