In other auto expo, the Hyundai stalls are full of newer cars/concepts . it Seems Delhi expo is not on their priority.

The Hyundai coupe is already selling in the UK. Is this Genesis a latest version/varient of the coupe?

Most of the cars look funny to me. The i10 electric may sell in good numbers if priced correctly.

How serious are they about selling the electric I10 in Indian Market and if yes what could be the price range? I am seriously looking to buy an electric car these days for my wife and the only option I have is Reva.

Is the Genesis based on (or the same as) the Tiburon?

No Abhay, both are very different. Genesis is based on Genesis sedan and is a RWD. Hyundai was just tasting waters with Tiburon if they can make a coupe. Both are largely very different from each other.

Genesis coupe is much better, modern, faster and safer. And its not a replacement to Tiburon.

Hope this helps

I have seen a undisguised H1 wagon on test(?) in Kolkata! So maybe they intend it on launching it here.

Boring stall.Except the Genesis.I so hoped they'd showcase the new Sonata and the ix35 SUV! Now that would have been interesting..

A very bland show from Hyundai. Had expected them to show some more cars. Any news on the Santa Fe, or the Elantra replacement?

No SANTA FE or All New SONATA! No R-Series Engine! I thought Hyundai would put up their best in this show!

I'd say you wait just a little bit longer. Chevy is all prepared to launch the electric Spark this October at a premium of Rs. 1 lakh over the regular version. And with the E-Spark being launched, Hyundai won't be left far behind. After all, the slanted H was the first to offer common-rails to the mass market (E220 was out of reach for most).

In the next 12 months, you'll have the E-Spark, i10 electric and a 4 door Reva. Maybe even the Indica electric that's being readied for Norway.

Isn't the torque a little less from 1.2 litres at 110Nm?
