I wonder how much distance they covered with 23 "inmates". I would not think of a number greater than zero

Renault could spend more time improving the car and selling it rather than going for cheap stunts like this.

Reminds me of the supposedly true story of an Amby taxi driver in Dhanbad sometime in the 1970's, who was pulled up by the cops for overloading - having 22 people in the car, as the story went. He was produced before a magistrate, where he flatly denied having done the deed. The driver challenged the cop to demonstrate how 22 people could be fitted into an Amby and then be driven, and the cop couldn't manage beyond about 15. Disgusted, the magistrate let the driver go scot free, with a warning to the cop not to bring false cases before him!

Similarly, I'm sure if one goes to a Logan showroom anywhere in the world with this ad, the showroom guys will never be able to replicate what has been demonstrated in the ad!

Gulf countries, with their glittering wealth, are home to all kinds of excotic cars. Surprising to see that something as yuckish as Logan also sells there.

Damn, and I thought we used to fit the most in a Fiat. 12 members, entire cricket team and one extra (The 'non-playing' captain )
Ofcourse, the car is not that big to fit all 12, so 10 would sit inside and 2 would sit on the hood while we drive from college to the cricket ground that is 1 mile away.

remember the old shape Maruti 800 - i think they actually fitted in some huge number (30-32??) of people into it.

This was at one of those events in Madras, which was held in the mid '80's (1986-87??).

This was done just to prove that the car wasnt as small as everyone thought since we had only the Amby and Fiats to compare at that time.

They can actually save the cost of the airbags and reduce the price of the car! Airbags with 23 people in the car is probably the height of redundancy!

Totally insane. I really do hope that those 23 people did not have a heavy meal. After effects could be, well lets just say unbearable!

Hilarious post mate!!

What were Renault thinking when they did this ad. And like someone pointed out earlier, where is the room for fun when you have 23 ppl sitting into each other!!

It was witty when Mini did it because the Mini was a small cramped car. It was a cute tongue in cheek reply to that criticism. Doing it in a Logan is a bit silly since we know its a spacious car.

Its true that the Logan is spacious.
ButWas it an official logan campaign ? What were those guys thinking?
It looks so foolish. What if something had gone wrong? What if somebody had choked inside?
I just hope it was not an official campaign by Renault or Mahindra. Would never expect irresponsible stuff from such companies.
