Thanks auto-one. Are you sure that the A/T version wont be launched initially? I'll be considering this if A/T is launched. But as per the news in various websites which i googled it says that about 6 variants are going to be launched. Sorry i couldn't get the exact links.

It is just my assumption, considering that no company would risk launching a pricey and comparatively slow selling variant in a highly competitive and price sensitive market, esp. when the brand has almost zero visibility and loyalty in the market. However a brand / company with a good market share would be in a better position to take such risks ( e.g Hyundai launched the i10 auto after the success of the Santro)

Default Saw Nissan Micra on Meenabakkam road

I was Nissan Micra testing on Meenambakkam road near the airport. I clicked a few pictures with my cell phone.

looks bigger than I expected (i20 as a reference in pic 4). The rear is not to my taste though, specially the tail-lamp-cluster. the front window is like beat's

Good Pics. Surprisingly, the car too looks good in this color. It should go well with the public is my feeling.

good scoop

The rear end is not to my taste, and the car somehow looks similar to the toyota ethios from some angles except front.

Nissan needs more dealers first if it has to suceed, and of course, be price competitive. The current X-trail and Teana are depreciation disasters in the market.

The car looks good in black. Much better than the metallic orange colour (sort of) on their website.

I don't find much wrong with the rear either. Maybe the black colour has got something to do with that as well.

It looks similar to Swift, i20 in size. The rear does not seem to look good (IMO). Front it looks similar to A star style headlamps

Default Nissan Micra (?) Spy Pics

Spotted three of them on LB Road, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai. The Nissan logo was masked with tape. Because there was heavy traffic, the drivers didn't care to notice that I was taking pics in my cam (Please excuse the bad quality and angles)

The Micra standing beside the Swift shows their similarity in size. They are almost of the same size. Nice find though. The picture on top shows a dark metallic brown. The car actually looks quite good.
