majority of the common people who don't know about and moreover who don't really care about the technical details of a car and who just care about a car which a gives a good drive feel in its stipulated price, will fall for this kind of advert.

Though, as far as Logan is concerned, it is actually a good car fo its pricing. It might not be a cracker, powerhouse of a sedan but if one can settle for the brick like Maruti WagonR, why not go for a sleeker and better performing Sedan like Logan.

Well I can't comment too much about the suspension of Logan when it comes to love making games but I can definitely say that the backseat in Logan is pretty spacious do play the love games very comfortably inside.

Umm.. If this was shot at Mahindra plant then does the presence of SsangYong Rexton make you think anything?
Can the World SUV from Mahindra be sharing something from this car?

May be all you guys were busy thinking what was going inside the cars

Unreal! For a moment there, I thought we've only had robots working in the Indian auto industry. Great to see someone with a terrific sense of humour.

P.S. : I hope, for the Logan's sake, its competitors don't see a need to reply. After all, the boxy car has a lot more that you can make fun of.

Hehe ... Good ad Looks like it never came to TV but. Ad is cool but not the car i guess. That's why it died soon after the launch Dont know how much sale it does now a days on monthly basis. Heard it is used as a Cab now but never seen in Pune.

Great idea for an advertisement surely. But the flip side of it is that anyone who has a Logan "does not get lucky" !!

No offense to any Logan owners. I have sat in a Logan once & I must say I was impressed with the rear seat legroom & ride quality. It just looks too much of a "plain jane", that is the drawback I guess.

Cheers

They can use the exact same footage with a different tagline at the end :

Mahindra Logan - It kills your libido.

Mahindra studied a lot of vehicles when they were designing the Scorpio.
As a part of study, car manufacturers across the globe can buy or import vehicles for R&D purposes. These vehicles are officially not allowed to be plied on the regular civic roads for any kind of usage.

The Ssang Yong is onesuch example of an import by Mahindra for R&D.

Infact the front suspension of the Scorpio (IFS that they call - Independent Front Suspension) is actually not the design of Mahindra
They had got the design developed by one of their vendors (who had a technical collaboration with a Korean firm) who still hold the design rights for the front suspension.

During my visit to that plant in Korea, I did see a lot of Indian vehicles (including the Tata Sumo). They used these vehicles there to study their suspension systems and designs.

Another example is QH Talbros in Gurgaon, who manufacture amongst others, Ball joints for front axle-suspension assemblies. You will find a good line-up of vehicles here as well. Again for R&D purpose.

Thats a funny ad for the Logan, but the question is how do you if there's something really going on. To have the proper effect, the ad should have captured a boy and girl coming out all ruffled up.
