| Neat Scoop Sid!! Pics tell that its going to be a bit lengthier (thats what I can infer from the longer looking front door), meaning additional and much wanted leg room. It badly needed an Interior upgrade and the pic tell us that it isn't that bad now considering what it was. Rear almost looks similar to the current generation WagonR. Roof rails are dual colored now (I prefer them black anyways). Would be curious to know when is it scheduled for a release and also the tech specs on the engine part as we've heard much on its shift to K-Series from the present one. |

| Wow they seem to have done a real All New Wagon R this time around. The interiors look completely new. My only concern is that the existing one has lot of space to keep stuff which seems less in the new one. Nevertheless seems like competition has compelled Maruti to load the car with goodies which were removed earlier e.g. the rear wash/wiper |

| Wow a scoop of the new Wagon R. I was worried that the new Wagon R will loose its boxy look like what they did with the Zen and Zen estillo. The looks of the New Wagon are okay as per my standards. I beleive this has the new K series engine right? |

| Simply B.E.A.utiful (like the dialogue in the movie Mask); the roof rails are drooling; The VXi with the ABS is sounding real good; the interiors looks much much better than the current models; hopefully they've better seats this time. Last edited by aargee : 19th March 2010 at 13:18. |

| Senior - BHPian | I really really hope they don't put the same 1.0 Engine from the Estilo/A-Star into this. Please Maruti give us a 1.1 L 4 cylinder K-series engine with this popular and promising hatch. Heck, even the Eeco 73 BHP engine would be better suited than the A-Star engine. |

| Now that looks nice!! Is it longer than the current WR or is it just the angle in the 2nd snap? Any plans of a Diesel? Something that will eat into even a Figo? ![]() |

| Senior - BHPian | Looks more boxy than the current avatar! Good thing to see some changes in the interiors as well with the facelift. |

| Sid ,The number of scoops you come up with, you should start an ice-cream factory. But this one was refreshing as it was a new flavour of the existing ice-cream called wagon R. So thanks for the scoop. The wagon R was an innovation as it was a box compared to the usual blingy shapeless hatches that were on the Indian roads. This one is more VFM as it is more box per box. Anyways the front view looks pleasing. As with all flavours of this ice-cream , it will be licked and lapped up by our thirsty Indian customers under Maruti's maya. A wonderful example of thinking in the box that will meet success at minimal cost, thanks to the old cones used to serve this new flavour acquired at minimal cost from Suzuki Japan. It remains to be seen what is inside. I liked the taste, hope it succeeds. I am not sure how safe it is to eat this ice-cream. Any comments ? Last edited by rpmx1000 : 19th March 2010 at 13:33. |
