Be it a C class base or whatever; this one looks great than the 5 series!
OE alloys as per sidman's pic doesn't look good.

Not neccisary. BMW does have the 3 series coupes and convertibles that they can bring in and take control of this segment. Cheaper than this for sure. 5 series takes a beating in the coupe and convertible war.

Its on the E class platform and not the C class.

good coverage Dippy. Excellent pics Sidindica.

Looks cool, they have anyway made it two seater, lots of stuff on the IRVM space.

The gear lever looks like a manual car one.

Its a four seater and not a two seater, its only a two door. The gear lever is the same on all Mercs. This just has the fibre/chrome lever instead of the wood finish ones. They all look the same .

IMHO, E class sedan is better looking than the coupe. The engine specs are horrible - I mean, you can get a Honda Accord V6 for the same kind of engine specs for almost half the price of E 350. This is definitely a car that is going to stand out in the crowd.

Looks much better than the sedan !!
Drag coefficient is unbelievable.
May be it looks too much like the cls on profile.

Yes looks a lot like the CLS.. But LOVE it nevertheless!
Note to self: Look for a white E350 coupe after 3-4 years that is if the convertible is not out!!

No man the CLS looks shrunken in front of the coupe.

I like the attitude, similar to mine . Convertible tomorrow morning they can have the money... the coupe a few years later.

No matter what everyone thinks but you must know this car is based on the C class a lot more then the E. It shares a lot of components with E but believe me most of the platform is on the C. I will find diagrams etc and show you for proof but there is no denying the fact that this car is based on the C-class. (not that it's a bad thing)

I still think Mercedes India is making a huge mistake by not getting the CGI in this car atleast I mean when BMW F10 comes out in 535i trim that engine will blow the current E-Class 350 petrol engine.

The front angle-full of attitude. I turn around.

Is this at T&T Motors Okhla, Delhi because I remember spotting the same car outside on a TD by someone else right near the showroom.
