What happened to ford now. Sudden decrease in prices. Must be clearing out last ikon stock before they bring out Fiesta.

Definitely not Stock Clearing - the ikon will be sold even when the Fiesta is launched. maybe space clearing in the showroom for the Fiesta

or Ford has kick started the Diwali Offers.

But yes - at that price the 1.6 is a very tempting deal !

You can always get 50% insurance from any ford dealer just like that.. this is what i have heared.

Or could it be that the base Fiesta would be priced at the old Ikon ZXi levels ? Then they might permanently drop all Ikon prices ..

Ya, I think the same. That they gonna drop ikon soon coz never heared of ikon exi @ 4.89 lacs. Man this is hot deal for sure.. Or may be they will continue Flair and replace the exi and zxi models with fiesta.

Dunno what ford is upto. Man i m waiting to buy a diesel car. Ford just hurry before i buy accent crdi coz then you will have 1 less customer

three theories

either they are replacing the agin ikon with a newer car

updating the ikon. A new fresh face ikon or

reducing the price to take on the competition from baleno and petra.

End of the Ikon 1.6, Sxi, Zxi, et al. They'll probably sell only the Flair variant alongside the new Fiesta. Thats good news, because it means Ford are willing to take a risk with the new car - perhaps they're planning to price the new one at a slight premium over the original 1.6Zxi prices???

In that case, the C-Segment is in for a shakeup and City may probably be dethroned...

damn i could have got a 1.6 at the price i got the flair ! just hope they don't discontinue the car as it will be a depreciation disaster for me.

check if you can get any colour, or if it is limited to what they have in stock/transit. If the latter, then they are discontinuing the 1.6 for the new Fiesta. You should bargain and get loads of accessories apart from discounts. All the best
