Photo of rear profile shows foot step which would only be there if there was some seating arrangement in back, I see no point in providing foot step if there was just luggage space? I mean there is no need for a person to go into luggage space and so there is no need of foot step without it.
So the probability of rear seats or jump seats in luggage bay is high or should I say confirmed?

IMHO, 3-cylinder engine is a Big letdown but overall the car seems to be promising.
FE quoted there is 18kmpl Overall.
Thank you thank you @CRtorquwfan.
Well you can't have anything i say, just forget the 3 pot. This car is a dream come true and was eagerly waiting for the review. The 3 pot is a dampener and also surprising is the absence of any 5+2 seats.
Though good thing the spaciousness is still there from the Xylo.
Another dampener is the launch date, they said it will be around May/June, and now telling it will be at the end of the year.

There could be variants with different seating configurations. e.g. Maruti EECO too comes with 5 & 7 seating variants.

Somewhere in the review he mentions that the tyre size looks to be 14" but the spare on the rear door looks much bigger than that, looks close to 15" or even bigger. I just hope that they change the front nose and it is a derivative of the Geneo and not the Xylo.

(remove the spaces from address above)

The torque figure is especially disappointing.

So far so good. The driver arm rest is present, and it seems the interiors are similarly specious to present ones. The jump seats look pretty small, and may be perfect for punishing noisy kids! No dual cool AC is also Okay, hoping it will show some reduction in price.

I am not well versed in the engine characteristics of cars. Is 70HP 160NM torque too less as compared to 75BHP 190NM torque of Ritz diesel?

EDIT: Thanks to teamfiat for showing the first photos of this awaited vehicle, and thanks ajay0612 for bringing it to notice here on teambhp.

Probably. Ritz diesel weighs much less at Rs 1150Kg. While mini-xylo might weigh somewhere near 1400Kg. If so than BHP/Ton will be 23% less and torque/Ton will be 31% less than Ritz.

This seems to be too good to be true, of course except the engine part but then you can't have everything.
Waiting to see the complete uncamouflaged pic and also the final pricing.
June is coming to an end and there is nothing from Mahindra, not even a teaser site.
Waiting for the rest of the 22 pics that the member of teamfiat has.

Its surely coming with the Genio's front. See this pic, which was actually for the W201, but has the mini Xylo in the background, with the front from the Genio.

@benbsb29: Good catch man! But the photos in the above post show the bunny tooth grill kept aside. Either way, this mini xylo has two huge USPs, its space inside the car, and GC.

Yikes! Looks like the bunny tooth grill makes it instead of the Genio face we had been feverishly hoping for!

The more and more i see the pics the more am lusting for it.
Horrifyingly i don't even care about the bucktooth grille even.
One doubt, is the start-stop button actually the stupid Mahindra micro hybrid system or a start button?
