My dad also told me about one of Maruti's new cars. He works in Federal Mogul automotive parts factory, and trust me guys, internet is not where he gets his info from. I don't know where he got the info from though.

Finally all the speculation to new small car comes to rest. Almost everyone had expected the Alto to be fitted with the K-series 1L engine which is now inevitable (BS4 Alto had fuel pump problems), & it was near impossible for Suzuki to replace the sales leader. Logically, I don't see there is spare capacity with Suzuki to accommodate the new car, & it seems that the Suzuki's Indian management has taken a wise decision not to go for a new car, & rather improve the existing ones .
