5.8 L for the diesel seems to unrealistic. It could be the base petrol is priced at 5.8. These could be ex-showroom prices and not 0tr prices.

hmmm...even if the top end fiesta costed 7.5 lacs, i believe it is going to sweep the market...but at that price, it's gunning the honda city zx (even the vtec has just about 100 bhp). so, if the handling and build is what ACI touts it to be, then forget the baleno, at the given price range of 5.8-7.8 lacs, the fiesta would be bang against the indigo gsx, accent, baleno, NHC zx, etc. and my guess is, this ford is going to beat all others in it's category...

even if the fiesta is half as good as it's hyped to be, then i guess ford has another winner in their hands (the next real one after the ikon). i'm guessing ford is looking at about 4-5000 units per month....

I think the price will be 5.8l ex showroom for the base petrol and 7.7 for the top end disel..

I dont believe these prices..... Man 5.8 lzc for diesel version hmmm.... gotta go check it out top day at ford showroom.

Variants Exshowroom (TamilNadu)
Exi Petrol (1.4 / 82 bhp) - 5.59
Zxi Petrol(1.6/ 101 BHP) - 6.29
Sxi Petrol(1.6/ 101 BHP) - N.A
ZXi Diesel (1.4 Tdci/68 BHP)- 7.10

Please add Insurance, Road Tax and Handling extras for the OTR price.

I think CNBC goofed up. Just spoke to Shaman. The Petrol base is 6.4 on the road mumbai, and the diesel is 7.xx on the road.

Ya dude. Just talked to ford guy in chandigarh. He says come to showroom about the details and specifications of the car. Gave me a hint about the price to be above 7 for deisel. Will roll out tom to check the car and test drive it. Any one came to know about its FE. The guy at Bhagart Ford chd didn't answered my questions well.

hello,so what abt ikon? woudl they be killing it?

doesnt anyone have the pricing of ikon. just to compare?

As far as i know.. Dealer was saying the Ikon 1.6 will be phased out soon but 1.3 flair will be there.

I think Hyundai should drop accent prices so that competition becomes more tougher.

There is only one model in Diesel ...


Exi Petrol (1.4 / 82 bhp) - 5.59

PPL i think all these are speculations.. i just called both ford dealers in bangalore.. they'll get pricing by evening or tomo morning.. or if someone is relative of bill ford then can get it before that..
