For me the Best Dash-Board is still CHEVROLET BEAT LT!!!! The backlighting, the steering, the Instrument Cluster, the Auto-Aircon controls the lines and the smooth feel plastics all are excellent! The best in Hatch segment. The only three cars which can compete with that are
a) JAZZ...
b) Polo
c) I20

Considering utility and originality in design, the Jazz gets my vote. For quality of materials, it has to be the Polo highline.

I really love the dashboard of the Chevy Beat LT. The piano black finish + that good looking steering + blue lighting looks really cool. The base and middle variants don't have the piano finish so they don't look as good as the top variant.

Other than this I love Honda Jazz' dashboard a lot.

Oh and how to forget the new A Class - sexy!

I think we need to update the pictures of the Dashboards if we are going to talk about them as we have some new entrants and many cars' interiors have been refreshed

This is actually pretty simple "I20". There should be a poll.

Swift - It is actually good and there is nothing wrong with it.
Ritz - It is showing its age now.
Astar - This is also pretty good.
Wagonr - Hate it.
Estillo - hate it even More

Beat - Really liked it. So much that I bought one.
Sail - Disappointment

I10 - Excellent
I20 - Even Better

Polo - Absolutely designed for utility not even a hint of design.

Etios - One of the worst interiors ever.
Vista -Can give Etios a run for its money
Brio -It is also not too far behind.
Micra - Never likes this one as well.
Punto - This one too never appealed to me.

Figo - Contrary to popular bickering about the interiors I actually like it.

It has to be i20 followed by Swift.
Swift's dash has certain asthetic balance.
Figo has a old school feel , but the view from dash is superb.

Polo is good, Brio looks like it was designed by 4 different people and then integrated toghether but has the best looking steering wheel IMO.

Etios has a weird looking one.Toyota will run out of colours to make it look exciting.
In Vista , dash feels too huge and its down on functional aspect as well.

As far as Ritz is concerned, the pic below is not from Indian Ritz ( Its from splash ) since there is no Piano black surround to the centre console ( which looks good ), ritz would have looked much better with a different steering wheel and of course better plastics.

The new Swift' dashboard is really delicious, especially the Z variants.

How I wish we had more cars with black interiors and no chrome or beige. Most hatchbacks sold in our country are available in the UK and they all have sweet black interiors. They look absolutely classy.

At least, there should be an option for the customer to choose between interior trims.

i20 all the way. Almost Civic-like in feel, colour etc (and more loaded than the Civic incidentally!). The new Swift's dash is leagues ahead of the older gen car, but some bits are still not very high quality (gap behind the steering column when you tilt the steering, ORVM switch etc). The Figo has a retro feel to it but is very nicely put together, and I like the metal+black/blue finish (I happen to own one). i10's excellent too for the price, while the others lag behind IMO. Punto's design is nice but is let down by the finish.

PS: The dash and interiors of the (now discontinued) Fabia were excellent, maybe second only to the i20. Sad that it's gone.

My pick is i20 followed by swift. I think we should add eon to this list as well. It certainly has a better fighting chance than liva.

Jazz for funky looks for sure. Also looks nice.

Fabia (2008) works best for me. Solid build and clean lines with no-nonsense look. Own it because I like it.

Eyes closed choice for me - it is the 8th (Honda) Civic. This dashboard probably inspired the use of the word "cockpit" to be used to refer to car dashboards.

The picture of the FIGO dash board looks so elegant in the above picture. Will I may be biased as I have one however I think it is quite simple and functional. My vote goes to the FIGO

I really love the Jazz interiors and the dash. You may want to do some justice to the Figo by throwing in a normal black dash for the Figo. That coral color was downright hideous.
