My next car is definately going to be a Volkswagen Passat.

I am madly in love with the car. Fellow Bhpians ,must be thinking what kind of a fool can fall in love with a Passat, people usually fall in for cars like Bmw's, Mercs, Lambo's, Ferraris etc etc...

I know Today I cannot buy the car but I am sure that luck is on my side and I will definately make a Initial report in the near fortunate future on the car with me standing besides it in Pride.

[quote=abhik;1094384]Do NOT call a JEEP a CAR. Jeeps can go places cars dream of.

Mahindra's would love to call Scorpio and its cousins Jeeps..
But Jeep is a TM of Chrysler Corp. Thats the reason they cant use the term.. A technical flair in addition to your humour.

Ya Stinger will give M&M feel only, not Stinger missile's, there's hardly any power/go under the hood!
Must be the same lethargic DI! Or at the most the heavily priced Crdi!

yes bro, the bolero stinger is for an on-road price of 10 lakhs with the 115 bhp CRDe engine of the scorpio, which i dont think is underpowered. for you, it maybe pricey, but for me, its worth the exclusivity!

@Raj, Oh yes, user/owner has to happy!
115 Bhp is adequate, I thought maybe it has the Crdi unit from Bolero ~ 100 bhp/.
But good that atleast it does not come with the gravely DI unit, which is not a Swift mover!

Definitely a SUV either the Toyota Fortuner (IF they launch it here) or the Ford Endeavor 3.0.

@ bhp1: actually you can specify which engine you want. the one with 115 bhp CRDe engine of scorpio comes for 10 lakhs, the others (bolero DI unit) may come cheaper too!

also to add, the 75 bhp DI unit of the bolero had better driveability than the old 110 bhp SZ turbo engine of the scorpio!

Next car ?????

For a restorer and a maniac like me, and a LHD fanatic like my brother, there's no end.

Our plan was add 2 cars within 8 years, and keep it low. But now it happens to be 5 cars (The M-800, Matiz, VW Bug,Safari Dicor, VW Bus)within 8 years.

So we've finally decided to become more saner. Much to our Dad's satisfaction.

Though a 4x4 vintage Ford would make us more happier, you never know.

my nxt car 3-4 years later would definitely be Diesel...after having driven diesel since 2003, I feel uncomfortable in a petrol car.

havent decided what i'd buy (lot of time for that!), but as usual my top criteria would be space and driveability. Automatic diesel car would be preferred if available at my price range.

Among upcoming brands, my choices would be Linea or Indigo Vista (sedans), Grande Punto or i20 (hatchback). if I have to go for petrol, it will have to be a Honda.
