After having just bought a new car (Jazz), its not the right time to talk about my next car. Anyways, here it is -
Skoda Laura TSi with DSG
OR
The new Civic (provided considerably better than the current one)

It would be Tempo Traveller.

I like long comfortable drives & the charm of car's & SUV are phasing off.

Thanks & Regards

I don't have any plans to change my Wagon for the next two years. However, my next buy will be definitely from Mahindra - Bolero or Thar

Well this question is something I am not able to answer for the past 4 months now. Target date for purchase is OCT '10. Will be a sedan for sure.
TD all cars possible, but totally disappointed by very single car in the market. Nothing meets my needs. I am too difficult to please. But I have come to understand that COMPROMISE is the word.

Sticking to that word i have narrowed down on

Verna diesel ( deform, sorry about that )
SX4 petrol ( Wish diesel gets launched )
Corolla Altis diesel ( after confirming its performance over the months )

So you see I am still not able to pick the one. (help much appreciated)

My next car is still minimum 4 years away. I would go for

TATA Safari 2012 model. I hope TATA release one.

If 2012 is not available by then, I would go for a Scorpio/Xylo type vehicle.

Well my unique requirement of daily farmroad + weekend highway leaves me with no other option other than the Thar. 2WD is sufficient. I will dispose off the 2001 ikon D and relieve the Padmini 137D then.

The first two and the third are in completely different segments. Well, talking of the >10L segment, if you love to drive, then you should be looking at the Laura TSI too. If comfort and reliability scores top most in your list, then you should look at the Corolla. The Toyos are not the best to drive, but to be driven in.

My present car is a TATA NANO LX. I love the car and the tata company for providing us such a nice car, but I wonder how tata will survive with such a 'below average' service quality. Customer care is something unknown to Tata service centres.

However, most probably, my next car will be 'Tata Venture' or 'Tata Iris'.
Not because I do not have money to buy other cars. But because, tata
provides such a value for money to indian customers and we have to
make use of it.

I never owned a ford car. But, I understand from some of my friends
who owned ford that the maintenance costs of the ford are very high.
The spare parts cost too high and engine works etc, if any, also cost very high.
Kindly do not take my words as it is, I request kindly have a survey with
your friends who owned ford FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS.
