Default Your Next Car?

Hi Folks
With the competition hotting up in the sedan segment from 8-12lacs, time for a quick poll.
Lets say you are in the market to buy a car in this segment what car will you buy, if money was not a constraint?
(Maybe a long lost relative of yours, one that you had not met for a while, suddenly calls you up and says, he wants to gift you a car of your choice, he will finally decide which one but you gotta give your options.)

The options listed are the top end versions, lets see what BHPians select as their choice in each section.( Manual-Petrol, Diesel and AT)
I am only listing sedans under 12 lacs and the top end versions of each offering only.( assuming if money is not an issue one will choose that amongst the offerings)
Please vote separately for a choice in Manual- Petrol, Diesel and AT preferably but if you will buy a diesel/auto only, then choose accordingly. Needless to say do not choose more than 3
Did not list the Verna Diesel AT as that has no parallel choice.

If money is not a constraint, why will I restrict myself to something under 12 lacs. I would buy the 27 crore Veyron of course. People buy cars in this segment because they are all rounders with some compromises. If money is not a constraint, I will buy a hot hatch for city runabouts, an MUV for carrying people, an SUV to scare people, big German cars to show off and of course sports cars to have fun. I will not buy anything in the so called C and D segment if money is not a constraint.

This poll appears to have been created to favor a certain brand, but if I had to make a choice, it would be the VW Vento Highline Diesel.

And why isn't the Fiesta 1.6S on the list?

Why do you say so? Am trying to see the preferred choice in the sedan segment, have mentioned that clearly. Will open a poll for premium hatch and entry level hatch too, just did not want to make it huge to add it here( had thought of that earlier)

mkh would like it to prove that most people would buy the ANHC in this segment if money is not a constraint. Right, mkh? Come on, you can tell us.

Probably what is the most popular preferred sedan as a complete offering. Since a lot of folks choose based on budget and other constraints, looking at what folks see is the best offering overall.
If the thread is adding no value- mods can feel free to remove it.
@gilead- i have mentioned, want to add all premium hatches and entry hatches too, if that does not make it confusing. Grow up dude, how does it matter what comes out, i made my choice and am very happy. Its more about knowing market dynamics that i liked to do this, if this is fine, will like to see choices in other segments too.

Thanks, just realized this is a more apt place for this. The title was misleading too hence the varied comments.

But chnaces of it are slim - hence voted for VW Vento Petrol AT.

1. More than 4000cc
2. 0-100 in less than 7 seconds
3. very rare on indian roads
4. Less than 50 lakhs

Mitsubishi Evo X.
The review seems to be excellent. Owning a Cedia somehow draws me to it!

Janaab,
The upcoming Mitsubishi EVO X will meet all your requirements except it's less than 4000cc, but no worries there it's turbocharged. It also comes with a rally spec AWD that grips like a leech. Sad part is it's not as flashy as you may like.
