Buying in bulk should surely help, but for now all i would say is to try buying magnum on december to get max discounts.

Very true.

Default Re: Price of Optra Magnum 2.0 is slashed by Rs 1 lakh

Does anyone in Delhi know the on-road price of an Optra Magnum Tdci LT?

A relative wants to check out diesel sedans up to 10L, and this looks like the best option. They're actually in Ghaziabad, so not sure if prices differ or if one can buy in Delhi (where I think it is cheaper) and register in Ghaziabad.

I'd say otherwise the Chevy is outdated and has almost ended its life-cycle. Ask your relative to check out the Vento.

Ghaziabad prices are similar and the difference will be around 2-3k. Delhi would be more expensive.

I started a thread about selecting a Diesel Sedan for myself, which you may find useful. Have test driven 5 of them (Vento, Linea, Manza, SX4, Optra).

The discounts in Delhi are about 27-30k + corporate discount.
