brand as Luxury to take market above C+ segment
And thats what they plan to do by getting the Cadillac BLS over here.

@ Trinadha- the SRV looks like the Optra from inside.

The Vauxhall Astra is a super hit in Europe. Now only if it makes its way here.

Would love to see the Opel Astra make a comeback, the latest model is quite good looking, they have also come up with a new type of folding roof design. And my friend its the Vauxhall Astra only in england its still the good old Opel in the rest of continental europe.

chevy aveo is essentialy a hatchback with 1.4 and 1.6L variants pitted against the likes of GETZ and SWIFT- premium hatchback segment has seen a lot of new entrants in market - not surprising is this launch by chevy which supposedly provides the news of this car being tested on indian roads..having priced competitively at 4.5 tp 5 lacs..cetainly worth a look as its Northamerican version seems to have had a firm stronghold in the segment..though not much competition in small cars in here...good find for chevy only time will tell...MATIZ mania? who knows..

Chevy Aveo is premium hatchback, if GM wants to increase their market share they have to launch small hatchbacks, because size does matters. Its simple more numbers then more service stations, then good service finally customer satisfaction

dont like the looks of the aveo uva much...looks a lot like the getz.if it has to beat the swift, it can only do so if they price it on par with the swift.i feel, the aveo sedan is gonna be the next good looker after the ikon in the c segment.

I agree with beeman here. By the way, can somebody comment on the after-sale-service of GM? Optra, Tavera owners??
