The Hindu Auto Expo 2010, the two-day automotive exposition, presented by JK Tyre to be started on September 25 was inaugurated this morning at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam. From contemporary cars to vintage vehicles were on display and fans belonging to different generation gathered at the venue.

We also came across the facelifted Hyundai i10 and were we impressed by it. VW displayed all their cars barring the Beetle, Phaeton and Touareg. The Vento was a real show stopper and that is one reason we couldn’t take any pictures of it.

In attendance were Nissan (Micra and Teana), Ford (Endeavour, Fiesta and Figo), Maruti Suzuki (Ritz Genus, A-Star automatic with wrap and SX4), Tata Motors (Indica Vista and Manza), Mahindra (Xylo and Logan), Hyundai (facelifted i10, i20 and Santro), BMW (Z4 sDrive35i and F10 525d), Mercedes Benz (SLK, E200 CGI and CLS 350CDi), Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, Mitsubishi Evolution X, Map my India GPS, Garmin GPS and a whole lot of vintage cars.

Since Manza was showcased, I was expecting Aria too. Wasn't that available?

I'm little confused on this
