I'd buy a black chevy cruze, chip tune it and do some basic mods ( 14 lakhs )
I'd want a black kawasaki Ninja to feel the rush (3 lakhs)
I'd buy a mint condition white honda crv (13 lakhs)

Ahhh.. nice thread, this !

Here's my 30 lakh wish-list:

A perfectly restored 1962 Fiat 1100.
A beautifully original 1959 Chervrolet Impala pillarless hardtop.
A natty red MG B.
An elegant two-tone Fin-tail Mercedes.
and
A 'rocksta' white Swift.

Option C.

My 30L car garage in the future:

1. I would wait till Skoda launch LauraRS (Est. 20L). This would be to fulfill my enthusiast needs.
2. I would buy a used Jazz (5L) for space, practicality and short trips within the city.
3. Would invest/save the remaining 5L for a rainy day (High probability I would need this since I would have a Skoda in my garage).

As per my view people who can spend 30lakh on car at a time are "super-rich" and they will not settle for less than a Merc, BMW, Audi etc.

For those who can spend 30lakh within a time span of two or three years should prefer the option C and for that my choice will be

Skoda Laura TSI or Honda Civic(pre-owned with budget of 10lakh)
Toyota Fortuner

For me it should be a Safari 4x4 and the rest to fund me for a world tour

Well actually I would not go for a very high end car but a more down to earth thing which can go almost anywhere, and take me touring.

Iteration 4:

Pre-worshiped Endevour: 10L (for bad roads)
Fiat Linea T-Jet plus: 11L (for long highway drives)
Maruti SX4-ZXi VVT: 9L (for some needs which the above two won't satisfy).

I think this has got the right balance of utility, practicality, reliability and fun to drive (only due to inclusion of Linea T-jet).

And the most beautiful part of this solution is that I have already got one of the three in my garage. All I can dream of now is getting the other two
Well, I have changed my mind because I realized that having 2 sedans does not make sense. In fact, given my needs and lifestyle, even 1 sedan does not make sense. One SUV and one hot hatch is all I need. So here is my revised list:

Toyota Fortuner
VW Polo 1.6

And I will be happy

For my dream garage
1. Preowned Amby to be customised at Coimbatore with imported Izusu Diesel, Koyas seats, JBL Audio, Gypsy wheels etc - 5 lakhs - my first & favourite
2. Innova 2.5 GX - 10 L -- Japs comfort & quality
3. Preowned Merc C class CDI - 15L - German Diesel - my dream to drive
I wish to increase the budget to 45L and like to replace Preowned Merc to New one or pick a New Civic

since i had bitter experiences with pre-owned cars and i cant live with a different number plate, all my cars have the same number got used to this stupid habit. till recently i used to dream about owning a MERC or BMW someday but that dream is been replaced.

my choice of wheels will be

new - accord preferably white
new - figo tdci
if etios comes with a better interiors and better performance my opt it over figo.

p.s. innova stays.
if there is any left out will spend them on a good set of wheels and tyres for the hatch, the rest will go for ICE

Cool, very similar to my "imaginary" garage :-). I had this exact same garage in mind in my initial iteration. However, just to avoid having both diesels, I would choose Polo 1.6 over GP VGT.
