| Note from Support: Our Official Honda Brio review is here: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/offici...ve-review.html (Honda Brio : Test Drive & Review) Please continue discussion on this car in the new thread. Thanks - Honda BRIO Prototype makes World Premiere at the 27th Thailand International Motor Expo 2010. The new hatchback is developed for Asian markets and scheduled to be introduced in India in 2011. - Honda BRIO further advances Honda’s “man maximum, machine minimum” concept. Being developed as a commuter vehicle which is easy-to-use even in urban areas, the Honda BRIO prototype adopts an easy-to-handle compact body (length 3,610mm x width 1,680mm x height 1,475 mm). - Honda will develop unique versions of the mass production model for India and Thailand to reflect different customer needs in those markets. Moreover, with this vehicle, Honda will utilize local sourcing of parts and materials such as sheet steel. Localisation target is 80%. - Fuel economy of more than 100km / 5 liters will be targeted to be classified as an "eco car" by the Thai Government. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by GTO : 8th September 2011 at 01:15. | Yes, this is the new car. Looking pretty polarizing and radical from the rear. ![]() Another image from Honda's facebook page. Last edited by sidindica : 30th November 2010 at 13:56. |

| Senior - BHPian | That is one of the most hideous rears on a hatchback! Looks like they gave it to DC to design it On the contrary, the front looks quite smart. |

| The rear seat windows again are ridiculously small. Competition to beat in rear seat window. They remind me of Andaman jail, where the window is set so high you can't see anything but sky out of it! |

| It looks very beautiful to me; if this one comes as promised, that is, 20Kmpl & 1.2 litre engine, its sure to kill most of the other cars in its segment. But again, being Honda, they should price it right. |

| The front view is pretty good with the continuous "crease" carrying from the front bumper to the side profile. But, the rear looks completely disproportionate to the front. Looking at the car from the side, it feels like it was a sedan, but bit by a dinosaur and made into a hatch. Look at the difference in door sizes between the front and the rear!!! |

| Senior - BHPian | Honda is entering the i10, A star, Santro, Estilo segment. It would be a miracle for Honda to be pricing this car near its competitors, as we all know how Honda has gone on to price its products in India. Interesting time ahead to see how Honda goes about this. |

| Is it just me? I find the dimensions to be very small like A-Star in these pictures. I would not pay 5 lakhs if the car is of A-Star size. |

| Looks good to me though a bit radical. The rear without a tailgate will take time to digest. Quote:
Is the same 1.2 Vtec of the jazz with 90 hp? If that is the case, this car will fly given its compact dimensions but i think it will be a tuned down motor generating 75-80 horses. | |

| Looks good but I dont think it can quite challenge the Etios on space and price. Rear is odd and the hatch looks to be made of glass. |

| The Rear of the car is so ugly . The front is okay if not Korean-ish . Honda will need to localize and price it aggressively to make an impact . Overpricing because of the Honda badge would not work in this segment IMHO . They wouldnt have a diesel also. |

| how much is 4,00,000 baht in Indian rupees? This car has the potential to murder the hideously ugly liva, even though its interior reminds me of the a-star. Last edited by sidindica : 30th November 2010 at 14:18. |
