For a 2004 Model ikon the IDV value we got was 2.41, i would say a 3rd owner car sould be looked upon only in the range of 1.8-1.9 max not more than that, start the negotiations at 1.5 if alls well with the car.

I have Zen Vxi 2005 Jan Model that I want to sell. I would like to know the rough estimate for the same. Here are the details of my car.

Model: Zen VXi
Color: Metallic Gray
Bought: Jan 2005 in Pune.
Mileage done: 75,534Kms
Tyre: Michellin Tubeless Tires (Mileage done on the Tires 25000Kms)
AC: Working and serviced after 50000Kms.
Music System: Sony (MP3 + CD) player with 4 speakers (In good condition)
Chassis: Has no big scratch or dent.
Battery: Replaced 1 yrs ago.
Electricals: All the electricals are working fine.

Can anyone please let me know what should be a good price for the car? Any help will be really appreciated as I want to dispose off the car before arrival of the new car

a new irde era would be around4.1-4.2lakhs on road

you feel a 1 year old i10 would lose 1.3 lakhs in resale ? i doubt it

I would like to sell my baleno Vxi(2006,AUG), which i bought from True Value in 2007 with an odo reading of 12,000kms. I bought it for 4.91lacs. The car has run 64,000kms so far. I have converted it to CNG. Have been running on CNG for the last 40,000kms. CNG kit is tomasetto with lambda and TAP. Last year i have changed the tyres to Michelin XM1. The car is in good condition except for some minor scratches. It has JVC audio system with JBL speakers and amplifier. How much should i expect for this car?

I recently bought a 2003 Accent GLS 53000 done for 2.38 Lacs plus Insurance (7.5K) ~ 2.45 Lacs after a search for almost 1 month.

Team-BHP's Used Car Section helped me a lot to select this.

The condition of the car is good with very minor scratches around the Front Left Fender, The bumpers and the right passenger is repainted although there are no signs of any accident. I also got it checked through Trideny Hyundai Bangalore (KR Puram), and they confirmed that except some Clutch Adjustment and minor Suspension issue, everything is in order without any work required.

Also, the Engine, Chassis and other electricals are good without any major signs of ageing. Then Interiors are clean and spack, It has Front 2 Tubeless tyres whereas the rear ones are Tubed types, There is atleast 20K of Tread left in there.

Wanted to check with the experts whether this is a good buy or not.

You can expect 2.3 - 2.5 L in the market. Zen sells like hot cakes. It is a 5 year old car, so I might have quoted more. Keep it, I'd say.

Ok so this is a sanity check even before I inspect the potential purchase.
Hyundai Accent 2008 July Purchased, 12000km. Central Lock/ Bruglar Alarm with Remote Control, Sony music system, Leather black seats.
Expected price is 4.5L. A quick check in carwale.com shows a car of such spec (accessories not counted) can fetch 3.8L ...
I'll make an inspection of the car, if found in excellent condition, what is a ballpark figure can I start negotiation?
