Punto is a very good car and finding such a low mileage car is really good. But the resale value of this car is poor. I think the price that you friend is quoting is good. Don't go beyond that.

Duly noted.

Transfer of RC in HP is not possible since buyer must have residential proof etc of HP. And registering in Delhi means taking NOC from HP and paying tax once again in Delhi which would make the deal non lucrative for any buyer unless you are willing to bear the cost or accommodate the same in your asking price. My advice will be to sell it off in its home town itself rather than go through all this hassle.
I suppose if it comes to that then we will see if it can be accomodated in the selling price although i am not sure of how much that would be - selling it in Himachal would definitely be easier , just that the car is stationed in Delhi so anyone from HP will not be able to see / drive the car if they wish to. Maybe one can contact the dealer that the car was bough from and see if they can sell it off to someone in HP.

You can try selling it in Chandigarh if possible, even with the NOC the new buyer would have to pay lower tax hence you ask for a slightly higher amount than what you would get in delhi.

Hi. I have a Wagon R CNG Lxi model which I am planning on selling. Its a Dec 2012 manufactured model but registered in Feb 2013. Its done 22,000 kms and is in very good condition. What should be a fair value for it? Would greatly appreciate any inputs. Also, what is generally considered - the Mfg date or the Regtn date?

I have an offer for a used '09 Wagon R which was originally registered in Noida and then re-registered in Bangalore couple years back. The current KA smart card lists '09 as the registered date (even though it was re-registered only a couple years ago). Is this normal? Also will this be a cause of concern when I'm reselling?

Sir I hope all the details what you have mentioned is correct. It is 2009 year registered civic V variant with Manual transmission and without sun roof right?

If the above is right, I would say 3.75L to 4.2L would be the best price in Bangalore. In Cochin it should be still lesser.

7L is way too high. Generally you can find good amount of Civics in Bangalore at reasonable rates. I do not know about Cochin.

Also remember that Civic is no longer in production which is why the resale price is very low.

What price can I pay for a Skoda Fabia, 1.4 Tdi, 2010 model, classic version with dual airbags, ABS. The car has done 55000 km with full service record. No major issues. Location and regn are Chennai.

Price range 2.9L to 3.2 L. My suggestion is to avoid Fabia.

No Skoda in pre-owned avatar please!

The car is good but for the ASC. Do not go ahead as it will eat your time and money and mental place by making you run around home, office and ASC.

I can't be dead accurate on Cochin prices but I would still say 7L is on the higher side for a 6 year old, discontinued petrol car, despite having clocked low figures on the odo. Try to negotiate and bring it down by another half a lakh or so if possible.

5.5 would be right, if you really like it may be 6, remember you'll only lose money on this car, 3 years later you may get 3.5 at the most.

3.75 to 4.2L would be the right price. At any cost, not more than 5L.
