as per Vadudev's demostic sales chart

Month to month increase 125.0%

Considering the MJD's availability and waiting period. It should be around 50% 225 MJDs. It is par with Gets CRDI

yes that is the best way to put a chart

the sales figures of the captiva, srv are quite good considering their pricing and brand image

as far as fabia is concerned, its better or equal to what was expected from it

- City rules supreme
- Look at Logan!! Behind City and Indigo, but ahead of Sx4, verna, accent, Fiesta!! (Though i expect Dzire to pump up the number soon)
- Surprisingly Aveo looks weak
- The whole C+ segment looks weak (baring Civic)
- Where is GV?

That was an excellent chart Pulsar, I have two questions though.

These figures are from Jan 08 to Mar 08 right?

Also, what is meant by 'open' in the second last row?

I have always wondered that I see so many fiestas on chennai roads and still their sales numbers are not great. This chart explains it. Their maximum sales come from Maharashtra and Tamilnadu.

Also surprising is that the SX4 had 30% of it's sales in NCR region alone

And who would expect the indigo sales to come close to the leader honda City

What about the sales of the Alto and M800?? They are selling good numbers still.

Hyundai should be walking happily to the bank considering the fat margins it has with the i10. Sadly the same fat margin is killing the Getz

Great chart Pulsar. Thanks for posting. I know it's too much to ask, but is it possible to get the Petrol-Diesel car split as well?

Because, the South is the only zone were the Fiesta and Verna sell more than the SX4. Compare this to the North and west where the SX4 outsells the Logan. Is this only due to the non-availability of diesel option in SX4?

Indigo starts at less than half the price of NHC. Pity that even after costing less than half, it still can't sell more than NHC.

Is it required that some car which costs less than the NHC should outsell it?

Great chart there, Pulsar. Says a lot more than individual vehicle sales across the country.
