Yes. I saw lots of Dzires in Mumbai too. Most of them V<x/d>i.

But not a single Captiva spotted yet!

I am seeing Captivas more often than Grand Vitara - here in Pune.
In fact, I do not remember when I saw GV last time...my be it was when I took a TD.

Really sad for GV is a cute looking car with decent offroading capability and price.
The engine has badly let it down I guess.

met my friend last week who had driven his aveo up to ooty.
he was cursing its lack of fuel economy - very heavy on the gas he tells me. He was also wishing there had been a diesel option.
i do agree that somewhere GM Mktg Strategy seems heavily confused. If you realize it, deep down, based on general experience with GM right from Opel Astra, Swing, Corsa, Sail, Forester, Optra, SRV and everything, many of us dont completely trust them.
Their service is pretty poor too as is their re-sale value which is absolutely lousy. My other pal bought a used one and half year old Optra at 4.7 lacs ( the car cost 8 lacs on the road when it was first bought).

I just don't understand car manufactures launching in India without diesels (SX4,Aveo) - when clearly diesel sells volumes.

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder
And that also explains why the new CR-V is selling

Been noticing a lot of Logans in Delhi lately. Seems like MR have finally broken the image mould.

Also NHC experiencing a mid age resurgance??

Now, this is a surprise. I had expected the TATA numbers to go up after CS lunch and the Sumo Grande/new Safari. I wonder whats really wrong with TATA!
